Options for Life, llc is an independent, for-profit business with a socially responsible mission.

We are not connected with a charity in the UK with the same name, nor are we affiliated with an organization with the URL: www.optionsforlife.info

Options for Life was founded in 2006 by Walter Coddington (photo: right), marketing consultant to Fortune 500 companies, founder of Ad Age top-ranked sales promotion agency CCM, author of the McGraw-Hill business textbook “Environmental Marketing” and environment and development consultant to the United Nations Environment Program and the United Nations Population Fund/Face to Face International. Walter Coddington's associates, Bryan Thomlison (photo: center) and Lenna Tsutsumi (photo: left), also played a large roll in the development of the company and the optionsforlife product line.

optionsforlife cleaning products for household, commercial and janitorial use feature the very latest in safer cleaning chemistry including, but not limited to:

* using hydrogen peroxide (much as you do for your own body) instead of chlorine bleach to eliminate common odor-causing germs;
* replacing traditional toxic acids (such as those used in many tub and tile cleaners) with a safer organic acid solution; and
* replacing non-biodegradable alcohol (commonly used in glass and window cleaners) with biodegradable solvents that are not nearly as irritating to the skin.

Compared to conventional toxic cleaners, optionsforlife non-toxic cleaners receive better marks for surface gloss retention and surface safety (meaning they don’t dull and scratch surfaces over time as toxic cleaners can).

optionsforlife cleaners are stronger than most other non-toxic cleaners, in part because we put more active ingredient in our ready-to-use products. optionsforlife cleaning products are much safer to use around children and pets, and they are safer for the environment than most conventional cleaners.

But don’t just take our word for it ...

optionsforlife gallon- and larger-sized commercial and institutional concentrated cleaning products are Green Seal(TM) Certified. They meet the Green Seal(TM) environmental standard for industrial and institutional cleaners based on their reduced human and environmental toxicity and reduced volatile organic compound content.

Plus, greenhome.com has rated our products as "the Best Green Cleaners."
